Please take time to review information about safe snacks and foods prior to purchasing treats for classroom parties or even school snacks and/or lunches. You may also consider an alternative for classroom birthday treats such as pencils, fun tablets, or donating a game or book to the classroom in your child's name. These types of 'snacks' eliminate concerns about the safety of children's health due to allergies.
The web site Snack Safely is another great resource of information about allergies.
